Our team really enjoys the TAF Bethaday space for day-long meetings/retreats! The Multipurpose Room is perfectly spacious and the large windows provide much needed natural light through all seasons. When it’s warm, it’s lovely to be able to open the garage-door style doors at the end of the room to let in air flow. The elevator allows us to load in/out our meeting supplies easily. And taking breaks to walk around the surrounding Dick Thurnau park makes it all the more enjoyable. Last but not least, the staff are wonderful to work with. I had the pleasure of working with Diego and Geneva to secure a space to film two days of interviews for my organization. They were both so gracious in supporting us through the process, and the space itself was a treat to film in. So much natural light! We had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah party at Bethaday with about 80 people. It was absolutely perfect. Reserving the space was really easy and Diego was incredibly receptive to ALL my questions leading up to our big event. The space is so beautiful-we put up the garage doors so we could have it indoor/outdoor with a dance floor, DJ, and photo booth. This is a hidden gem for sure! Our only complaint (and it's a small one) is that we paid for them to set up and clean up, but they asked us and the people we hired to help us with the food to bring in the chairs and tables from outside.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would recommend this place if they let up a little - it seems like they care more about making money than trying to help you plan / manage your event. Lots of money go into this place and you’re still not guaranteed your money back (alcohol consumption -$450) you can pay for them to set up but literally it’s just them setting up tables and chairs (does it really make a difference? ) and you pay them by the hour to do nothing but watch you. You can’t have any inflatable , ball pits no matter the size ( party baby fit for 1-5 year olds wouldn’t work here !!! ) inside or out unless you get an order from king county and that’s if they allow it on their property while also getting insurance for it and the alcohol and whatever other license or insurance they need. All these things are reasonable things to be worried about at your space but for you to be a great business and not help your costumers create the event they want is pretty diabolical. You want all this money but really all you can have inside is food drinks and a photo area. For some that’s all they need but for $1200+ …. Absolutely NOT. Clean, large size, yet not too large, and working with the staff is a pleasure. They make everything easy. My family loves it. We have used it twice for reunions.
