Due to the given circumstances regarding COVID-19, the BCLS will be closed until further notice.

To our BCLS community:

We are all doing our best to adapt to the quickly evolving reality of COVID-19. Our commitment to supporting this community is of utmost importance, so we are taking the necessary steps mandated by our state to ensure the social health of our guests and staff members alike.

Effective immediately, we are closing our rental facilities at the Bethaday Community Learning Space until further notice. Any rentals that wish to cancel or reschedule may do so by contacting us at Please be advised that rescheduling is based on availability and is subject to change. Any current rental payments may be applied to a future rescheduled event within 1 year of the event date.

In consideration of Governor Inslee’s requirements for social distancing, we are currently not conducting any facility tours or in-person meetings regarding the BCLS space. Despite these limitations, we are more than happy to answer any questions about our facility and support you in planning future events. Our team will be active on all communicative platforms including our email, website, Facebook and Instagram pages.

As we all adapt to the given circumstances, we are here to support each other. Over the past 7 years, the BCLS has been home to hundreds of festive events and has seen the many faces of a united, empowered, and resilient community. We hope to celebrate a homecoming with you all when our doors open again, of course, depending on public health recommendations.

Until then, stay safe and stay connected. We are in this together.

With love,

The BCLS Team

  • Absolute wonderful venue! My wedding day was everything I imagined and more. I would use this venue again for another event!

  • Beautiful sustainable building. Situated in a park with a pond. Loved the venue and always picture ready!

  • I’m so grateful that I found you – the best spot in town!

  • Beautiful space, plenty of parking.  Great customer service prior to, and day of our board retreat.  We would definitely return to this venue.  I especially liked how light and bright the space is and how the view looks out into the park.
